The Body-Scan Meditation
For this exercise, find a calm and quiet place with not many distractions around you. Sit comfortably on a chair or on the floor. If you want, for this exercise you may even lie down on your back in a relaxed position. We are going to try to focus our attention on different regions of the body. During this meditative exercise, it is natural for your mind to wander at times. Practice non-judgement. Accept the process as it is. When you realize the drift, try to gently bring your attention back to the activity.
