The Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, commonly known as MBCT is a Psychological training program that emphasizes on the sense of 'BEING'. It will help you recognize your sense of being in the moment, which is distinct from your thoughts and mood. The aim is to address the inevitable stress faced in day-to-day life and enhance resilience and psychological well-being within the military. Going through the training programme will bring about a heightened sense of self-awareness. It promotes the ability to live life in the here and now; to accept moments as they are; to understand and manage thoughts and emotions healthily; to act with purpose; and to deal effectively with the world around.
