Mindful Walking
This exercise will require you to walk around for a little while. If you feel there is not enough space indoors, you may try to find a calm and peaceful spot outside. Any place that feels comfortable, safe and familiar to you. Look for a path that is relatively straight and even. Preferably choose a space without too many distractions so you can focus all your attention on walking rather than the scenery around you. If you choose to do the exercise in a smaller space indoors, every time you reach an end-point, try to pause for a moment with intention. When you’re ready, turn around and continue. You may practice this exercise barefoot or wear any comfortable footwear.
